Alexsandro dos Santos Silveira is from Florianópolis, SC - Brasil. Doctorate in Knowledge Engineering at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. He holds a Masters in Mechatronics Engineering from the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina. He is currently a Researcher at the POLO Laboratory, located at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. He has experience in Mechanical Engineering and develops research activities in the POLO-UFSC laboratory, with emphasis on Thermal Engineering and Automation. Approved in two public competitions, the first one being a professor at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFSC) and then approved in 1st place in the public competition at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) as a refrigeration technician. Approved also as Professor of the Industrial Automation Course at SENAI-SJ. In addition to the previous ones, it exerts the function of reviewer of the Brazilian Congress of Thermal Sciences and Engineering.
