The POLO Laboratory, of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UFSC, headquarters of the National Institute of Science and Technology in Refrigeration and Thermophysics (INCT-RT), with the support of FEESC (Stemmer Foundation for Research, Development and Innovation), opened a fund to receive donations from individuals and companies to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

The funds received will go to the joint effort, already underway in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, for the manufacture of medical protection devices by 3D printing, laser cutting and machining (masks and facial protectors), in addition to the maintenance and repair of medical equipment under demand of the UFSC University Hospital.

In order for FEESC to properly identify your deposit and issue receipts to donors, we ask you to forward your full name alongwith your tax payer ID (CPF) or Passport number (for foreign people) and the deposit slip to the following email: covid19@polo.ufsc.br
