Guilherme Fidelis Peixer was born in Florianopolis, Brazil, in 1992. In 2017, he graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). In 2017, performed his internship as a researcher at INCT POLO/UFSC, working on the optimization of active magnetic regenerators. Currently, Guilherme is a master´s student, with emphasis on thermodynamic cycles for magnetic refrigeration. His major interests of research include the magnetic refrigeration, active magnetic regenerators, refrigeration cycles and design of thermal systems.
