Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Los Andes University in Bogota, Colombia (2007), master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering in the field of metals from the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Florianopolis, Brazil (2009) and PhD in Mechanical Engineering in the field of Engineering and Thermal Sciences from the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Florianopolis, Brazil (2015). It is currently a researcher in postdoctoral level at the National Institute of Science and Technology in Cooling and Thermophysics (INCT-POLO) of the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Florianopolis, Brazil. Held stage sandwich during the Masters at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands (2009) and doctorate stage sandwich at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in Denmark (2012). Has experience in the area of ​​Mechanical Engineering, Materials and Metallurgy, with emphasis on Magnetic and Thermal Sciences Materials, mainly in Powder Injection Molding, Synthesis and Characterization of Magnetic and magnetocaloric materials, new technologies in refrigeration, Magnetism and Magnetic Refrigeration.
