Matheus Wagner was born in São Paulo, SP - Brasil. In 2016 started the Undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), with expected date to graduate in July 2021. Matheus attended High School at Fundação Escola de Comércio Álvares Penteado (FECAP), which also provided a technical course in Software Development. Has knowledge in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript and C#, as well as SQL and relational databases, and with engineering tools like Ansys Electronics Desktop, ModeFrontier, MATLAB/Octave, AutoCad, SPEED and Motor-Cad. From 2019 to early 2020, worked as an Intern at Nidec Global Appliance, Joinville, SC - Brasil, where he developed simulations, experimental evaluation and product viability analysis of a novel topology for electric motors used in hermetic compressors. Has already worked as a teaching assistant in Linear Algebra for Engineers and Electromagnetism, and currently is performing as Scientific Initiation Scholarship at the Research Laboratories for Emerging Technologies in Cooling and Thermophysics (POLO) at UFSC, developing simulation models of electric drives used in hermetic compressors.
