Summary

This experimental work assesses the wettability of the lubricating oil in different geometric configurations of carbon steel and operating conditions. For this, it built a properly instrumented test bench. From the results, it was observed that the increased solubility in the mixture (POE ISO 10 + R134a) generates an increase in wettability (spreading) of the oil and therefore the adhesion effect on both superfícies.O This study assesses experimentally wettability of the lubricating oil in different geometric configurations of carbon steel and operating conditions.
