Summary

This study aims to determine the potential of computer code HVVACSIM (Heat Ventilation and Air Conditioning Simulation plu Other). HVACSIM is a widespread program of dynamic simulation simultaneously involving air conditioning systems, control systems and buildings. The program is highly versatile, enabling the simulation of any building with any arrangement of equipment and control systems with great ease. Results for an air-conditioned room, a typical summer condition, equipped with a simultaneous control of temperature and humidity are presented and discussed.
