Polo received last friday 15th a group of students from the Technical Course in Cooling and Air Conditioning of SENAI/SC - São José. The technical visit was conducted by Prof. Susan Thiessen (SENAI) and by Eng. Luís Torquato (Polo). This visit provided to the students direct contact with researchers that act in different areas of inovation, research and development from the Laboratory. Among those areas, industrial instrumentation, thermal processes control, supervisory systems, electronics projects and high precision instruments calibration.

Polo receives visits from UFSC's classes as well as from other schools/universities, with the aim of presenting to the students the researches that are developed here, both for showing how the cooling area is represented in the University, as for opening new doors for those who have interest in continuing in the area.
