Prof. Christian Hermes (Polo) won the Best Article category on the “2nd Thermal and Fluids Engineering Conference” Congress, held by ASTFE, with the article “Predicting the Frost Density on Hydrophilic and Hydrophobic Surfaces: A New Semi-Empirical Correlation”, developed in partnership with Prof. Andrew Sommers' group, from Miami University.

The Congress reunites researchers to debate on the most recent researches and discoveries, as well as to disseminate the researches and its results, on the Thermic and Fluid Sciences area.
